Review Policy
Happily Ever Elephants reviews traditionally published books for young readers, primarily picture, emerging reader, and middle-grade books, but we also review the occasional board book, young adult or even adult novel that finds its way into my heart.
If you are interested in having us review your book (hard copies only, please!), simply send an email to lauren@happilyeverelephants.com, and be sure to include the following information: title, author, illustrator, publisher, release date, synopsis and page count. Please understand that I cannot review every book I receive, and we do not have the capacity to review self-published books at this time. I only review the stories with which my boys and I develop that special connection.
A majority of the books I share on this site are books I have purchased for our family, taken out of the library, or borrowed from a friend. If I receive a book from an author or publisher and I do review it on our site, I will state as much in my review. However, all opinions are — and forever will be — my own, no matter where the book comes from.
